ELECTION OUTREACH WORKER WANTED!

This position is temporary and part time 

Location: Los Angeles

Wage: $24.13/ hr

Weekly hours: 20

Expected Duration: 2 1/2 weeks

About the Alliance of Californians for Community Empowerment: As a grassroots, social justice community organization, ACCE's mission is to build the leadership of those most impacted by injustice and inequality, empowering them to become leaders, and to create change in their communities. By coming together and becoming active, ACCE leaders are driving innovative public policy solutions.

Election Outreach Worker Position: The Election Outreach Worker's responsibilities will be to engage in door-to-door outreach in order to motivate people to vote, as well as to engage community members on important issues. We provide paid training. Canvassing and/or community service experience is a plus, but not necessary. Must be able to work evenings and weekends. 

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal communications skills
  • Self-motivation
  • Computer and tech fluency skills
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination

COVID-19 Safety Protocols: This position will require a combination of some office and field work (door-to-door canvassing). Proof of full vaccination is required. Full masking is mandatory. 

Preferred Skills:

  • Bilingual: English & Spanish
  • Outgoing, enthusiastic, and assertive personality
  • Dependable vehicle (Mileage reimbursed)
